A MESSAGE FROM Dr. Jimenez

Many teens and young adults struggle to transition from adolescence to adulthood. They often struggle with anxiety, depression, and life stressors.

Hello! I’m Dr. Dayana Jimenez, a licensed clinical psychologist in NYC, and founder of Open Hearts Therapy. We specialize in helping three types of people: teens, young adults, and parents.

First, we work with teens who are struggling with anxiety, feeling sad or are just having a hard time in their stage of life and feel stuck.

Second, we work with college students and young professionals who may be dealing with anxiety or depression. They may also be feeling overwhelmed by life transitions and complicated relationships.

Finally, we help parents understand what their child may be going through, and work to strengthen the relationship with their child.

If you want to learn more about these distinct services at Open Hearts, click on the services link at the top of the website and choose the one that meets your needs.

We understand that this is a difficult time to be a teen, a young adult, and even a parent.  But with therapy, you can gain the skills you need to work through past pain, learn coping skills for the present, and confidently move forward knowing who you truly are.
